Hello everyone, first thread on here :D

I was wondering if you could give me some advice on what rubbers to get. I've been playing with the same for about 1.5-2 years now, so I really need some new ones. Currently I am using the Xiom Vega Pro rubbers, on both backhand and forehand. I really like the rubber on my backhand, but for some reason I feel like i don't have enough control over my loops/spins. Because of this, I am very depandent of my opponent to make the first attacking stroke, before I can get to attacking.

So, can anyone recommend a rubber with a bit more of control? Because I like everything about the rubber, except the fact that i just don't have the control.

If you are looking for more control, try Tibhar Aurus - it has pretty good spin whilst not being too fast and has great control.

I used Vega pro previously, then switched to Donic Acuda S2.

I prefer Acuda S2 over Vega pro. I think the speed is about the same, both are soft rubbers. I do not have issue switching, thus I would recommend you to try Acuda S2. If you want more control, you can choose thinner sponge, such as 1.8 or 2.0mm.
