They don't need to approve anything, just look at dhs. They have 50 rubbers with the name hurricane 3, and they all have the same code.

Saw this on AliExpress as well yesterday, bit of a weird product tbh.

Seems like B2 BS with higher QC? Especially that its only available in 39 hardness is kinda weird.

Nevertheless, if it preforms well it could be good, seeing the price it would be intersting to offset it to a B3 39 and aee the differences.

why not? The most popular hardness and other Battle rubbers don't offer any thickness choice as well.
Likely they test the market.

Many variants of Chinese rubbers have a very short life, after some years you can find reviews about them but fairly difficult to find actual rubbers like numerous variants of Big Dipper.

if it has a better sponge than OG B2BS it might be worth getting one, tbh the sponge of the OG B2BS is pretty bad, had much better time using other chinese rubbers

but atm i will just let others buy and test it first before i splunge one dinner's worth of money with my darling on a potentially mediocre rubber

It's the same version, they're now just adding more hardnesses. I'm guessing we're gonna see more thicknesses too.
