Hello everyone!

My name is Adam and I am new to this community/forums.

I recently started playing table tennis actively (roughly 6 months ago) and I have to say, it's sooo much fun!
So much fun that me and and few other "team mates" decided to purchase a table tennis robot haha!
We decided to go with NOVA S Pro from @pongbotstore and I have to say, we do not regret this purchase so far!

First of all, I'd love to highlight their great communication via Whatsapp. They are very active and respons very quickly. And no, not talking to a robot or an AI. An actual person! :D
They were very nice, answered all of my questions and even offered a discount code!

Second of all, the robot, so far, is nothing but amazing. Very easy to navigate, use and set up. Liking the app as well.
I haven't gotten much time to use it extensively just yet, but my first experience with the robot is very positive.

I'll try to come back here and comment in a few weeks or months after using it a bit more. But yes, so far so great!

Once again, thank you for an easy communication, quick responses and a very high quality product @pongbotstore !

Have a great day everyone!

Do you think Omni S Pro not being a table top robot is a loss? Omni would always be shooting from the middle of the table, where as Nova can have custom drills from any position of the table.
The ability of the Nova S to move around on the table top is awesome, especially with how @plunder is doing some of his serve return practice. However, according to the PongBot website, the OMNI S pro is indeed a more powerful robot with nearly 40 more rotations a second than the Nova S. The most spin ive used is 6...which is probably pretty close to 100% on the Nova S according to my basic math.

Also, the main thing i wanted was a robot that automatically rotates between all of spins. I have custom drills where I get a short underspin tomohawk serve to my backhand, to a backspin ball deep to my backhand, to topspin to the middle. With the Nova S pro, i couldn't do that drill sequence. The level i'm at (1700 USATT), it's more important for me to replicate in game situations as much as possible with my practice, and the OMNI S can do that a lot better than the Nova from what i researched.

However, i do think the NOVA S is the best robot you can get for that price point, and that the OMNI S performs just as good (and better in some ways) than the $2000+ butterfly and powerpoint flagship robots. There is a user here who has the HALO S pro, which can line up on different parts at the end of the table, but even then, i dont think its necessary for me. I think this robot will serve me well all the way up until i'm USATT 2000+

Thank you for your valuable insight and explanation. As a beginner, I think Pongbot would be a solid choice for me, but getting tensed just by thinking about the pain of picking up all those balls. But Omni, at this moment, is out of my budget, but one can dream.

Dude just get a ball picker. It’s easy! Plus you might actually need the break after a while. If you are a beginner, the nova will serve you well until you’re 1500 USATT.

the pain of picking up all those balls.
only few balls to pick ⛏️ up , most land in my rolling catch 🥅 net, an imho wonderful companion to the pongbot, 35$ on alix mas shipping (i got mine from local vendor at same total 🤑). when setting up and fine-tuning the ball settinx of a Custom Drill, it does invaluable service by catching balls on the player's half no pun intended: i watch the flight paths from all sides of the mesa and can fine-tune amd test comfortably, peacefully, slowly, at my own "fine-tuning speed 🚄", i.e. independently from the actual ball "Freq."

The ball picking situation is one reason why i hesitate taking the pongbot to some clubs, even if they do multiball training without any type of catch net, which i find silly 😜

Rolling catch nets are perfect for club multiball training or pongbot training.
