Hi, Ive been playing with a hurricane 3 lately and found it was hard to loop and very fast, which is probably because I overboosted it. My friend plays unboosted h3 and says its way too fast and feels unplayable. Is there a way to remove or reduce the boosting effect?
Also my bh is a dignic 09c and it shrunk, is there anyway to unshrink it or make it fit, as its triggering my ocd.

H3 too fast! Wow, To me it’s way slow. Boosting should make it a little faster and more reactive. The only way is to play it. It will mellow out little by little up to a point. But this takes time…

I think ive just boosted it too much, its not that its too fast, its that its hard to control and all my loops and foreands just go beyond the table. Should i just take the h3 off and let the boosting effect wear off a bit, and glue on my t05 to play with for now?

H3 and T05 are as different as rubber can be. H3 boosted is nice and slow with tons of spin. T05 is horrible in the slow game and reactive like a bomb. H3 is great for close to table and T05 far away.

It’s not rubbers you switch easily…

My h3 boosted is in fact not nice and slow, its very fast, as i think ive overboosted it, i think it was like 3 thick layers with glue put first, then i messed it up and then took off those layers and put another 2 or 3 on, i dont know what i was thinking then

I’m not sure I believe you. Which H3 was it?

Lean forward a little more and topspin will be on the table!

H3 national blue sponge boosted with seamoon 2
OK, never used national it’s an awfully expensive rubber to waste like this. H3 wants to be brush looped but Blue sponge is better than orange sponge for ful contact loops for sure and provincial is still not fast, I don’t really believe that the difference is that great…

Just play with it as much as you can, and put power so you use the sponge and exhaust the booster faster. It should take a few weeks.

It is not desirable that the booster has a short-term effect. "The effect should last for the life of the rubber", about 6 months. Never again a Chinese booster!!!
Haha, give up on boosters, the law of physical can not be broken…

I am using H3 prov OS with haifu Seamoon. You get a honeymoon of about 3 weeks if you play hrs a week. Then it’s slowly diminishing. I’m on 3+ months now and the effect is long gone but it’s still very playable. Still spins with the best even though the tackiness is minimal…
It is a bit slow though…

A small example of how the Chinese booster and our booster behave.
The Chinese booster is good for players who change the rubber every month.
The effect is gone in 3 weeks.
Our booster has an effect for 5-6 months, so it is ideal for amateur players.
The picture shows how the rubber shrinks after applying the Chinese booster, the effect is completely gone.
After applying our booster, you can see that there is practically no shrinkage of the rubber, the effect is still there.
If you want to stretch the rubber again with the Chinese booster so that the rubber is as big as the head of the blade, the rubber will be completely unplayable.

I change rubbers 2 times a year and seamoon works perfect. The initial effect is big and then it evaporates slowly until gone. By that time I am used to how it works and no need to change. At the beginning of the season it takes a couple of sessions to get up to speed no problem there.
If there is no expansion there is no tension and tension is what makes the rubber lively. Your booster only softens the rubber that’s not good at all..

It’s a little different, after applying the Chinese booster the sponge is softer than after applying our booster.
It’s important that the effect is always the same, changes in the speed of the rubber and the elasticity of the sponge are undesirable, that’s why many players have an aversion to using boosters.
Also because they find it laborious, time consuming and some that it is not allowed.

No tension not much hardness change, sounds like a hoax to me… might as well use kerosine… or nothing at all..,
The only laborious is the waiting between layers…

If you want to have more catapult you must increase the tension in the topsheet. This is best done by expanding the sponge…

I will stay with seamoon it works perfect…

Of course.
