I usually see a few dollar difference, but this is insane!
I don't know Paddle Palace can survive. But if they sell a lot of Butterfly products then they have a chance. No one in North America discounts Butterfly products including my club coach. And TT11 and Dandoy do not sell Butterfly products to Norther America.
But it is not just Butterfly. Megaspin, and other smaller shops in N. America are selling say Nittaku or Tibhar rubbers at TT11 and Dandoy's regular price or maybe slighty even higher. None of my club mates are dumb enough to buy from TT11 even at TT11's regular price. People gather and chip in and make every single order $350 to get 30% bulk discount.
I don't envy table tennis shops at all. It is a tough business but people who EJ a lot like me keep them afloat. Lol. I introduced a couple friends at the club to TT11. They are now on first name basis with Dmitry and I believe Sergey now?
Side topic. A couple of them were buying from Paddle Palace before. One even got a Cybershape carbon which is only available at Paddle Palace and not on TT11. I kept my mouch shut but they kept on ordering and ordering. I felt bad one day and took both of them aside and told them about TT11. They have now used TT11 and have not looked back.
Five years ago, I talked to my club coach about TT11 and he said, do you trust that their products are genuine? I think my club coach felt threatened. Five years later, I have not regretted any of my purchases from TT11.
Now my club coach only sells Butterfly products which is a great idea. There is no way he can move any Tibhar or Yasaka inventories when TT11 and Dandoy are much more affordable. People literally every month or two turn the club into a swap meet when they order a big order together and have to settle who owes who how much money for say two rubbers. It is kind of funny
