I’m going to Rome in September for a week.
Any club I could play at ? Or some place I could play 1:1 with a coach ?

Ideally I’d like to play once or twice there.

i went there today. I played with coach Luigi. he is a very good player and very friendly, we talked also a lot and he gave me a few tips i hope i can remember some of them.

Luigi congratulated me and found me so "good" that he didn't want me to pay anything so I left without paying and thinking it was my lucky day. but after i left he texted me that the club owner still wanted me to pay...

my experience was also a bit ruined because i didn't have proper sports pants but a Uniqlo short bermuda. it wasnt comfortable to play with and actually i ripped it totally during the session...It was very difficult to make quick and big steps after that...

Also it wouldnt be Italy if the following didn't happen. Today public transportation was disrupted by strikes. on the way to the club i just missed a train and the next one never came, i managed to cut my losses and go back to the hotel who found me quickly a taxi.

on the way back i found a bus, but it wasnt direct and when i went out to change to get on the subway , no more subway ! then with Google Maps i got an alternative route with another bus, but that bus never came as well. i tried to call a Uber but i was down to 7% on my battery and it never came. and i was waiting in the rain at 10pm and it was a 1h30 walk to the hotel...

but finally a taxi driver came to save me... and all is well that ends well. 30+20 euros in taxi. i had a Roman deluxe training session and i have a story to tell my buddies !
