What about a medium pip rubber? That'll have some characteristics of both long and short pips and might be better for you if you're looking for a rubber that can do a bit of everything.
It's a good idea. Do you play medium pip rubber?
Do you want to slow the ball down, or speed the ball up?
What is lunch?
Slow and Control on the ball.
I've never used medium pips...but have used both long pips and short pips. The long pips for chopping on the BH, and I played for a couple of seasons with short pips on the FH.
Short pip on fh and long pip on by im the same time?

Most MP are caught in a dead zone between SP and LP because they tend to be not as spin insensitive or funky as LP nor can they make as much spin as SP. IMO OP would be better off with a long pips or antispin if they want a more passive game, or a slower short pips if they want a more aggressive game
Good morning guys. I am considering a choice between a long or a short pimple. I want a diverse game (block, cut, lunch and push). What rubber should i choose? Best regards
I think you want to know what rubber for your BH. For me I could do all your asking with short pip on my BH. I did try LP for many years but found it was slow. If you want to control and slow down the ball LP may be good for you.
