Remove sponge

Long story but to the point - anyone ever removed a sponge from the back of the rubber? does it leave a mess as im looking for the rubber for another application. thanks

Hot iron should be a solution in most cases.

One of my clubmates did it, he plays with H3 topsheet on a bouncier sponge. He says it's not possible with Eurojap rubbers because they use a different bonding process. I've never personally tried so IDK.
