Removing glue residue from topsheet

during a tipsy gluejob i got glue on the H8 topsheet. i made the mistake of trying to wipe it off straight away, instead of lettting it dry and possibly just peel it off. now it has almost absorbed into the topsheet and i can't get it off just by peeling or rubbing any further. i also tried with my usual revolution no.3 cleaner and a sponge but to no avail. it doesn't actually affect the playing characteristics, just looks shitty. any idea how to get this off? thanks!

Drop some glue on the table, let it dry, peel it off, then continuously roll it on the residue should do the trick.

Or simply don't bother, since it's in an area that doesn't affect the playing performance 😜

What if you drop a small thick drop of glue in one of the spots, let it dry thoroughly and then peel off? Maybe the previous one will comes off with it. Just a theory though.

Someone else had the same problem years ago.

If you still have the cut-off of the rubber you glued on, try and test glue removal on that piece to find out what works, before you try it on you bat.

Melamine sponge is slightly abrasive, I would not recommend using it on a topsheet.
