Although the well-known footballers may be friends on the pitch the talented duo took to the table in order to find a champion. The Dutchman was kitted out in his Manchester United football kit as he took on his team mate who was dressed in a slightly different attire.

RVP expressed how he was completely unaware of how good his team mate was on the table, however it was easy to see what United’s favourite pass time is at the training ground as both players showed the same speed and precision whilst battling it out. RVP also showed how he was able to demonstrate his tricks on the table as well as the football pitch after fading a shot down the line taking his opponent by surprise.
Van Persie was able to defeat Ferdinand after being behind and making an incredible comeback taking a close 11-9 win whilst appearing in an advert for BT Sport. The pair will appear on BT Sport next season alongside Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Gareth Bale with the company wanting to rival Sky sports for Premier League Coverage.
The pair seemed to be very good friends after it being just less than a year since Van Persie left Arsenal to sign for Manchester United, they will both be hoping to top another table together next season.
