Rubber recommendation.

So I had the opportunity to test the Butterfly Sriver FX. It is loads better than the Acuda S1 turbo for me, but still too fast, I feel. Does this change anything of the recommendations? I loved the control and spin though.

I think about Friendship 729 Super FX? I want to loop, with control and block. Thanks!

Yes. Because at this day and age there isnt many stuff that goes slower than Sriver FX that isnt classified as defensive
I would probably say Donic Vario Soft.....but the last time i saw that thing was like 4 years ago....

They are good enough for blocking.

There many rubber better for blocking, but spin potential suffer.

Wow,if sriver is too fast for you,you should really get 999t,thats only slower rubber
Or maybe butterfly tackiness chop or dhs pf4

For your backhand, a slow spinny rubber, at 1.1 - 1.5 mm, either
Gambler Reflectoid
Giant Dragon Submarine
SpinLord Marder

But,

For your forehand would be rather tricky.
- Rubber to enable for easy blocking will be low spin potential, and
- Rubber for easy looping will be super difficult for blocking, and,
- Normally looper and driver rubber is quite fast, but,
- Driving demand lower spinning rubber than looping, and,
- You already said that your current rubber too fast

So, I suggest for a while, you should do forehand block less for awhile, at least when trying following rubbers, at 2.1 - 2.5 mm. Due to spinnier potential, driving will be more difficult, so you do need to learn brush looping.

Brushing is a type of strokes where your hand speed fully directed to spin the ball, none for speed.

Imagine you drop the ball , keep your blade facing up, and swing to the left or right very fast. That what called brushing.

Brush loop is, a loop that implement brush style strokes. Also called Chinese Loop, cause it been popularized mostly by Chinese. Find Wang Liqin Training videos to see what kind of loop it is.

With 729 you cant lose anything.

I call this rubber type Flextra Class, rubbers with low spin reaction and low speed that used to be recommended to beginners.

Here is why I recommended for my cousin who is around your skill level. I recommend Aurus Soft by Tibhar with 2.1 sponge. He has played well with it, his serves are spinner and his control is better and can loop with it too. He just got done playing in a tournament last month and for the first time in years, advanced to the next round. He's basically a 1188 player who beat a 1345 player for the first time in his life! Not your fault. That stem from culture, environment.

The moment you said chop from near the table, I see that you means either push or chop block.

That the reason I recs submarine rather than h3.

I tried super fx in max, it play similar to h3.

I recs at 2.0 - max mm though, for easier brush looping.

Since I can get a huge discount of these rubbers, I will buy these, probably.

FH: Yasaka Mark V GPS, 1.8mm hardness. A controllable slow spinny rubber.
BH: Butterfly Tackiness Chop C OR Stiga Chop and Drive. I can get both with a huge discount, so money is not an issue. Could you tell me how the BTY Tackiness Chop C and Stiga Chop and Drive compare to eachother?

They similar, chopper great rubber, less tacky version.

I just dont like their loopy arc, I prefer flatter arc on brush loop like Tackiness Chop 2 or H3.

Mark v gps is a good replacement of your SubMarine.

I cant find them perform better than my h3 though. Too pricey.
