Hello! this picture got huge haha. Started using penhold for some months now and it is going well. Had some issues with weight and slipping of the fingers. Had a broken rubber so tried to mount it like this. Works very good. Do not play any tournaments but would this be allowed? Understand that i need to have the writings of the rubber left. I am bit curious if i need to have a black sheet on the wood? I assume, if i hit the wood the point will be lost. Thanks
If you are not competing then it doesn't matter. But legally you can really do whatever with the racket where your fingers rest as it is not considered a striking surface
I have the idea that you can return the ball legally if it strikes any part of the hand or racket that is below the wrist as long as its not a double hit
I may be wrong though.
