Getting faulted is within reason, especially his suspiciously low toss. At this point, Moregard's matches in recent years have been
full of drama that it honestly surprises me the umpire didn't yellow-card him more.
The ball is at eye-level, way above the net. So is the problem that he released the ball too late?
It doesn't look low at all and he is hardly benefiting from doing this. He does similar serves the whole match, so it's hard to understand the point of the call to be honest. As Truls says, it just ruins the match.
Truls has one of the most straight tosses where the ball is very visible all the way. Even if we consider it's from where the ball was released (even then 16 cm is not much and the toss should cover it), he's just not getting any extra benefit from the serve. It's pretty hard to tell when he releases the ball as he follows through and sort of covers the ball with his hand.
If you'd argue otherwise, please explain to me.
