Smelly handle?

Guys,
One silly question to be answered by any pro paddle handler.
How do you remove a stinky-sweaty smell on your bat handle?

I am sure all of you are facing the same problem.

brush your handle with toothpaste....

Have not experienced this, I also laquer my handles or use grip tape to prevent sweat stains and maintain the weight of the blade.

Also not sure about the toothpaste suggestion. Water isn't good for wood. That's a reason many still don't use water based glues without sealing their blades.
