Also between Battle 2 and Bloom Power, to me Bloom Power is much livelier and bouncier while still being a hard sponge.

Battle 2 is more dead than Bloom, but livelier than H3. Would you agree?

So is there any reason to use this rubber over Battle 2?

Well. Now I haven't received them yet, but the info I got was that there are three original technologies adopted.

Double cover technology: Which makes the anti oxidation stickiness more durable.
The rubber formula is added with graphene reinforcement material, and the rubber toughness and elasticity are greatly improved.
Double hole sponge structure, make the rubber greater elasticity, faster ball serve, better hitting, larger deformation of sponge and easier friction.

In March or April the "New" Battle III will be on sale with a pretreated sponge, giving the rubber a more dynamic and bouncy touch. Until then it's quite good to boost them a bit to make the sponge come alive a bit more.

But what's the point of all these technological upgrades?

1) Friendship already makes Bloom Power which has more elasticity than B2. So it seems redundant.

2) despite all that new technology, the result is only slightly more elastic. It seems booster has a much greater impact.

How would you compare Battle 2 National (Orange sponge) to the Battle 3?
B3 is a more "easy-to-play" rubber. A bit bouncier and a softer touch than B2. The B2 gives you a better effect when playing really aggressively and in the brush-department. But they are quite similar though. For me. I'm used to Battle II Gold/Battle Max Pro 41deg/DHS H3 41 deg. It felt like a step back when I tried B3, so it's not the best for all Battle users.
