I have P4 LP on bh for chopping. I would like to try a SP that can generate a decent spin in a backspin to backspin rally, but still can chop well with good control away from the table.

Any SP recommendation? What thickness?

Thanks in advance

I'm using the Victas Spectol S1; from what I've seen, that's among the most common choices. I started with a 1.6 sponge which allowed me to play a good variety of shots, from active to passive, but then I switched to 1.3 to make my chopping more consistent. I might change back to 1.6 once I feel more stable with my chops but for now, I'm in no rush to go back to it.

Mirror mirror on the wall, how will this thread go for all?

Four pages or more, James Z will cut and paste all and more,

Arguments, counter-arguments, stabbing each other with verbal insults,

In the end this thread will end with no results.

You know, it's rather easy to avoid this outcome: Don't feed the trolls. Just ignore them and have a productive conversation otherwise.
