I am doing a research for my team-mate, who is currently playing with Stiga Radical, which is not available anymore - which short-pip rubber would be a good substitute for this rubber?

Stiga has Symmetry now, but I have no idea, if this is just modernised Radical or something completely different ...

also, we are looking at Yasaka PO and Nittaku Moristo SP ... anyone able to help here a bit? :)

thanks!

Spinlord waran and spectol s1
I tried the Spectrol S1 instead of the Stiga Radical. For me, the Spectrol S1 is much softer and has much more spin. However, compared to the Radical, it's more sensitive to spin. I also had difficulty blocking.
For me, the S1 is a good rubber, but it doesn't suit my blade with a hard outer layer.

if anyone needs an advice - my team mate went with Yasaka PO and had no problem with transition, says it play really similarly speed wise and control wise, but can dictate what kind of a ball he wants to return - more rotation, less rotation, dead or put some rotation back. he is satisfied.

he also changed the blade, he is using Xiom Ice Cream, with short pips on Z side.

Thanks for the advice. I'll have to try the P.O. rakza. Could you please tell me what blade thickness your teammate uses? And what blade did he use before? Thanks.

I think he used to play with Butterfly Gionis Carbon ALL+. now he has Xiom AZXi Ice Cream Pro with Tenergy 05 (had this on the old blade, too) and Yasaka Rakza PO. he is really satisfied.

AZXi was mine but sold it to him because it was too heavy with my setup but with short pips it is much lighter combination. thickness I have no idea, but it is an amazing blade which I also highly recommend. if you have lighter rubber to put on, it had over 200g with D09c and D05. with Tenergy05 and Yasaka Rakza PO it has cca. 188g, which is acceptable.

Thank you. Do you know, what rakza PO thickness he uses?
