Suggestions for a new blade

Hello,

I currently have the following setup and I was content with it until my blade broke.
FH: Tenergy 05
BH: Hurricane 8-80
Blade: Yasaka Reinforce AC(top layer - Koto).

Anyone else using the same/similar rubber setup have any suggestions for blades? I prefer not to change my rubbers if possible.

Out of curiosity, if you were content with it why not simply by a new Reinforce AC? It appears to still be available from a few places.

Based on a suspected composition of Koto-Ayous-Aramid-Kiri, the closest still-in-production blade might be the Donic Original True Carbon Inner, though that one is a fair bit thinner (5.6mm compared to 6mm for the Yasaka). Otherwise you're down a rabbit hole of Long 5/Innerforce ALC varietals.

Honestly I most often see those rubbers paired with a Viscaria or similar. Viscaria + T05 is a rocket launcher, though. I've never used a Reinforce AC, so I can't say how the shot feeling and speed would compare.

Thanks, I do want to experiment a bit plus the blade broke from the handle so didn't want to stick to it. I was initially thinking of either Harimoto Innerforce ALC or viscaria. Have you tried the Donic Original True Carbon though ?

I have both.. Harimoto IF alc and DOTC inner, and the Harimoto has more feeling. It's easier to put spin on the ball with de Harimoto. I have D05 and D09c on that blade. The DOTC is more like a Franziska, not as much feeling. I can't remember what rubbers I had on them.
