I had switched from ph to SH for about a year now. My bh loop is certainly better as it was non existent previously. However I feel that I do not have the controlled touch and speed/response time of ph. Question is should I switch back to ph now? I feel I would have a better chance during competitions n tight points. I could train my rpb since I have gotten some basics of the SH bH shot. What do u guys think?

I started as a PH player before switching to handshake after 5 years. I remember losing confidence in punching my blocks. I found it difficult getting the correct angle for the bat to block. But I guess one has to persevere. Having said that, penhold is still relevant nowadays, just that it's rare at the higher level, because the disadvantages on the BH (non RPB).
