Does anyone else switch between inner and outer carbon blades depending on humidity or season? I notice that during the dry winter, I tend to play better with inner carbon blades as they get harder, but in the summer months, the humidity can make the inner carbon blades too soft. Vice-versa for outer carbon and summer.

No not noticing much difference. It’s more like a day to day form. Right now I go for slow outers. But in reality it doesn’t matter. I think most carbon blades are a little too heavy. I like a weight 80-85 grams and it’s a little hard to find carbon in that range most are 85+…

for me it was mostly rubbers that change the hardness depending on the heat. never had that with a blade

@Lazer you should try the andro synteliac vco blade series then, because they tend to be between 80-84g. a lot of players i know love them and they all got really light models

No thanks I have plenty of blades in my stash that’s untested 😇. Don’t need any more now (I hope)…

This is an interesting thread. I was in a (basically) jungle environment living and working for a year and it mushed out a blade fairly fast and i did switch to an outer carbon. We were playing in a place with like large open windows and rain blowing in even. Lot of slipping rubber, but still fun.
