Hi All,
I am soon to be moving to Manchester for work, and I currently play table tennis 4/5 times a week and compete a decent amount.
Whilst researching into table tennis in Manchester, I am surprised to see that, besides the Ping Hub, there aren't really any big table tennis clubs I am able to find.
Most places appear to only open 1-2 times a week; I don't see any massive league play, any coaches, any competitions. I find it really confusing why the second biggest city in UK doesn't really have any sort of table tennis foundations and no real places to practice.
Maybe I am wrong as I don't live there and locals know about places that arent advertised online.
I have also seen a few places like East Manchester Table Tennis Club which looked to previously be fairly large, now shut down.
Do any Manchester Table tennis enthusiasts know why it is like this and can provide me with some context?
I really hope I don't have to just stop playing table tennis when I move to Manchester and stop practising as much.
