My current TT robot finally died so I'm in the market for a table tennis robot. Curious if any of you have some you really like or have tried some of the ones I'm looking at.
Here's the criteria that will cut down the list significantly. So I will get this out of the way now.
- Must be a 2 wheeled robot head shooter. 1 wheeled robots are incapable of shooting no-spin balls.
- I'll never get the family to go for a $1000+ machine. Ideally the cheaper the better.
- Must be able to shoot plastic 40+ balls.
Do you have any you guys suggest?
On my short list is...
#1 option: Paddle Palace A32W

Unfortunately they're out of stock until April which would be a long time to wait. Has anybody tried this machine? Good?
#2 option: Hui Pang 07

Like the price. But couldn't do continuous play once the bucket runs out of balls. Continuous play isn't a must have. It's just really nice. I already own a catch net. Also not sure if it can handle 40+ or not.
Are there other robots I'm missing that I should keep an eye on?
Newgy just released their first 2 wheeled robot but I think it goes for $1600 so again there's no way I can get the wife & fam to go for that.
I know. I know. A robot isn't as good as in-person practice but there isn't a professional coach in my state and our club is only open once a week. I seriously don't have options to just playing more. Thought I'd get that in there before someone chimes in with that.
I like having a robot around (never tried a return board) to just keep certain strokes in good rhythm.
