Thin glue for gluing OX rubbers

I often need to glue long pimple rubbers with no sponge (OX). I like to use a thin glue to get a smoother finish, because if it's not perfectly smooth it's very noticeable on OX rubbers.

I've always used Donic formula first, but I've just realised that this is discontinued, and it seems that similar (identical?) glues from other German brands have also discontinued theirs.
So I'm looking for an alternative thin (but strong) glue for gluing OX long pimple rubbers.

Any recommendations?

The obvious but "illegal" option would be VOC glue, but I don't think you want to be selling people blades that aren't technically legal to use.
The DIY choice would be to dilute your glue. Might be a bit of a hassle.
Off the shelf I'd look at something like Rev.3 since they come in different viscosity levels.

Yup. I just recently bought a Rev. 3 glue with high viscosity. It is supposed to be greenish in colour and thick. Well, it's standard white and thin, and if Rev. 3 high viscosity glue is that thin, then their low viscosity glue must be awfully thin and "worth" a look at for OP. Is it strong? Seems OKish, perhaps even good.

Anyway, Gewo Hydro Tec is also thin like milk, just as the Xiom Energy glue and the Victas V-Glue 100 (blue bottle), at least compared to glue that is really thick, like Finezip, Stiga Attach Power Glue, DHS No. 15 and Andro Pro Glue.

I've messed with OX in the past and from a recent go at it, a glue sheet seems to be the easiest method for me.

Just make sure you get the super sticky side of it on the rubber and not the blade. Other than that, easy peasy.

VOC glue is not a good option, because if you apply it to the OX sheet it expands like crazy!
Yes diluting is an option, but that also dilutes the strength.
I'll check out Rev 3, but again I would wonder if the thinner ones are just diluted so may not be strong enough.

For anyone that's glued an OX sheet, you'll know you need a strong glue, as it comes off more easily than a sponged rubber.
