He is trying to promote Chinese style to western audience. However, to me it is not very useful. It is like trying to teach a French Chef how to prepare Chinese style Herbal Pork Rib Braised Soup ( 肉 骨 茶 ). If one is not immerse or come from that style of cooking background, many minute detail is lost in translation.

If you are trained in the western sense, just take those videos merely for infotainment. Stick with your western style coaching.

The problem is what he is doing is not coaching, I may doubt he is a coach who actually knows that content.

I don’t think there are no two very distinct groups as western and Chinese. In fact basic principles are same, everyone just try to apply the best. But of course in detail everyone has some differences, even CNT members have minor differences.

This is just a mere demagogy for cheap marketing by polarizing.

There are tons of good content creator in YT, also if anyone wants to learn “Chinese” style, they can watch Fang bo, JZK, Xu Xin etc who are sharing very good videos, not watch the scammers.

Btw, his content without commentary is good, other than copy right issues like League matches, bilibili repostings etc.
But commentary is just bloated, cartoon-ized like movies.

I haven't heard shitting Western players/coaches, fairy tales from CNT players' coaching videos just mechanics, physical facts, logical tactics.

Also there are some content creators making commentary without much actual game play but there is an effort give some insight. Everyone could be right, everyone could be wrong, the point is how and why you do that.

I know nothing about him as a coach or person but I found his videos useful when I started back playing. After a few vids I found it strange that he doesn't appear in any of them or actually demonstrate any of the techniques that he talks about and instead it seems to be just his commentary on vids of other players. I could do that!!! But what would be the point of listening to a total stranger who can't win your confidence by demonstrating what they are talking about. It might just be snake oil right?
That's why I haven't watched a video in yrs, I instead watch the players/coaches who are on the screen talking to you and showing you what they mean.
To watch an Emrat video now would be so weird after watching actual proper coaching videos!

I thought the audience from TTD loves the guy. For me he try to mumble the valerian language and I hate him from first sight because table tennis didnt work like secret society with one main magician and I saw his YT community on the forum like he really magician but he started to copy other work but you cant copy paste from his site which means my nose smelled some bs a lot faster.

According to his own biography he (Nam Nguyen or Nam Nguyen Hai?) got a PHD in 2011 from the Sorbonne in Paris (didn't know they hand out PHDs in bullshytting and copy/pasting, lol), and sooooo after getting his PHD he started to coach tt (full time?/part time?) at a small french club in or around Paris...

Pretty much everything he had ever said and written smells as fishy as the pantys of Beth Ditto.

We do have TTD members from France, likely from the Paris neighborhood, too, so it should be possible to track him down. Question is, do we want that, and if we do, what do we do about it? It's not like we can arrest him and/or confiscate his IT equipment.

I'd bet my mortgage that PingSunday has never stepped foot in France lol. He's in some dingy apartment in Shanghai.

no, just 4 digits number as all BTY player edition blades and the head is clean w/o any marketing bs. Some of such pictures were uploaded by someone who bought FZD ALC blade. Additional those player edition blades have golden (not silver) butterfly on the handle.
