Hi,

I am wondering if anyone may be able to help me find rubbers that would suit my play style. I have been playing table tennis seriously for about 2 years now. I train three times a week, play in tournaments and am part of a team which plays in an amateur league.

If I would rate myself I would say I am a fairly good player who is still working on his technique. My weakness is definitely my BH where I still don't have the confidence to loop in games, though I am working on it.

At my level the type of players I play against varies quite a bit. But if I had to summarize the flow of games I would say that 80% of points start of with a few chops/pushes till one pops to high at which point one player will try to loop and go on the offensive.

I have a Timo Boll Allround blade and currently I am using Donic Bluefire JP03 2mm on my FH and 1.8mm on my BH. This is not my first blade and previously I tried Rakza7 and Mark V rubbers on my other blade which was Stiga Stiga Allround Class WRB.

The problem I have with my current rubbers is that I feel they are too fast for me. Or maybe the throw angle doesn't suit me. I would definitely like to try some slower rubbers that will allow me to keep the ball in play more.

I have been doing some research I had an idea for the following set-up:

FH: 1.8mm Mark V or Adidas Syntec 1.8mm
BH: 1.5mm Dr Neubauer Domination

What do you guys think? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!
