Tips to improve my game

So I got second place in a tournament my school hosted last week. I lost to someone I've been losing to consistently recently. I think it's because of my backhand.

Any advice on what I need to correct and how? And insights into my opponent's game that I might've missed?. I'd also like if I could get an estimate of my level in USATT.

I'm the one in white using cpen btw.

Yh I know the rule but it isn't a standard tournament and I know the lighting isn't good. Thank you for replying. Maybe your next reply would be more helpful
