Hi dear
Give a try to some thinner sponge, Mine is 1.2 millimeters, I like artistic shots.

Igor, until you posted your video I had no idea you were such a young SexyMan like this. For some reason I pictured you as an old GrumpyGuy.

We'd suggest Globe 999 1.2 мм blue sponge for those seeking to play allround style, the nifty shots in particular. No enforcement is meant, just a kind advice.

Imo, slow setups only help you to mask inherent problems which is a lack of spin understanding (what is coming and your options to manipulate the spin), bad footwork, incorrect arm movement, lack of use of body to control the ball, etc...

Regardless of setup, just solve these issues one by one.

It's easier to solve those issues if you slow things down which is one of the reasons slow setups can be so useful for developing players.

Feeling and control are two different things. Control can be learned through much, very much practice. Feeling is a little more difficult, some are born with it like Desmond Douglas, XuXin, J-O Waldner, Truls Möregard, and a few others. You either have it in you or you don't. That is not to say that your ball sense cannot improve but you will get it but only if you get a lot of control over your strokes and the ball.

Try harder, more linear rubbers like the Stiga Mantra Pro H. Having the right gear does help when you are putting in the practice.
