Not liking Anti is one thing that i agree too, but Twiddling ? what's next ? you can´t move from the center of the table ?

Igor likely wants the game to be more beginner friendly, something along the lines of easy to start but difficult to master.

There's no anti-spin or pip rackets in tennis, badminton, or other racket sports. Having long, medium, short pips, and full anti, semi anti-spin, and rubbers of all kinds gives the sport a gimmicky feel to outsiders. A beginner who plays against such rubbers would feel "scammed" out of points by a charlatan.

I guess to each their own. Some love the creative possibilities unique to table tennis, others want standardized play.

Absolutely. And a player must shout loudly "backspin!", "topspin!" or "no spin!" each time before the contact with the ball. And they should be clear and honest. Otherwise it is cheating. Any sidespin should be banned. A particularly heavy spin must be indicated as "fu***ng backspin!" or "fu***ng topspin!". This way TT will be fair and way more popular.

What is great fun (at lower levels, obviously) is twiddling when your bat has two rubbers which are of very different colours. as per the rules, but little actual difference other than the colour. Expectation versus reality !
