VO > 101 is vertically aligned, extremely fast, great at generating knuckle balls that sink. If you want a spinnier pip, you want something that is horizontally aligned, like 102, SpinPips, Moristo SP AX, Impartial XS, etc.

Spinpips, degu, rakza po, or just get the vo 102 since you know it.

Yep, my list is similar too:
Impartial XS
Booster JP
Firestorm green
Sonic AR
Moristo SP AX

These are all similar to VO102. VO101 and VO103 are completely different.

Still think 802-40 is one of the best short pips for spin, but maybe need a bit booster and buy good ones. Mine is from a chinese coach, he says the quality differs a lot. Also liked waran 2.
Feels liks 102 grips less and very sensitive to humid environent. 103 less but can still make topspin.
