The players have sent a letter to ITTF to investigate it but what can the ITTF do in this situation when the event was not run by ITTF themselves?

The players have sent a letter to ITTF to investigate it but what can the ITTF do in this situation when the event was not run by ITTF themselves?

The event submitted the form, which states the conditions to be followed, for inclusion on the ITTF Calendar, so ITTF has jurisdiction over the parties and subject matter, theoretically speaking.
