Hey guys, i want to go do a training camp in some country in Europe, not sure which country and which clubs are best… I speak french and english fluently which should allow me to go to any country. I want a good camp that allows me to improve quickly and give me some knowledge which i might not know. My level is pretty good, i’m around #3 in my country U15, around 2100 USATT.
What are some good & professional clubs i can go to? Please let me know everything, i would appreciate it!

PS : What about China and other asian countries? Would that be a good option even if I don’t speak their language?

"Training observation of the professional players (depending on the date)
Free entrance to the home game of Borussia Düsseldorf during the course (date-dependent)"

"Star athletes keeping to themselves behind closed doors? No way! At Grenzau, professionals and course participants use the same training facilities. Anyone is welcome to come along and watch the ‚Bundesliga‘ squad during training sessions. Participants attending weeklong courses might even get the chance to challenge one of the pros. Also, all guests of the TT school enjoy free admission to the team‘s home matches."

But I would definitely ask if they offer special courses for youth players and/or your level.

Dusseldorf is actually a really awesome table tennis base - they built that to match those of Chinese centers and is for the national team use too. There is 3 main centers, the tt school is a separate building to that of the pros.
you might be lucky and run across a pro on campus, but otherwise, you won't see they much in the tt school building.

Hours at Dusseldorf (and most European centers) are low for my liking though. not sure about the tt school part, but the pros side is little.

fyi, the pro side (club) is sponsored by Butterfly
school is sponsored by Andro

I actually have 1 concern when you mix 10 years old to 75 years old into the same group and then have all the "paying customers" training with each other.

This is quite common in a lot of the centers.
maybe it will be great for lower level players, but if you are higher level player, for example, you wouldnt want to fly to China (from say Germany) and then your group that you train with, are all Europeans too

i'm not sure if B75 or the other German centers are like that, but i would believe that you want to train with players that are higher levels than you.

idk nothing about German camps. B75 has 96 players a week, grouped by levels. True they mix ages and countries. But if there is a little kid in a high group, better believe kid can play.

The higher levels thing is a common belief. Everyone wants to train only with someone better. Then pay a private coach like Tony for 1-on-1 training. Coach will be better than you. If you go to a camp some will be better, some weaker. Different skills stronger and weaker. If the coaches pay attention and know what they are doing, you still get good training. This is the value of B75, only 4:1 player:coach ratio. Again, idk, but I think other camps that number of players to coaches is a lot higher.
