FWIW... Last 2 seasons I mostly played with H3 BS prov. and Rxton 9 on the FH... When the last season ended, I wanted to kill the remaining rubbers, so after a while I glued the STN (Sanwei Targer National H40 or H41), boosted with 2 layers. I played with it couple of times, but then I had to stop because of elbow issue... After cca 7 weeks I started playing again (this week), and I felt like I'm punishing myself with the STN... It's nicely slow like H3 and Rxton 9 in slow hits, but in hard hits it's like I can't really access it, and the throw is lower and balls go over the net out... That is not the case with H3 and R9 - these both are fine, I mean as long as the booster is not fully out... I'd even say the R9 top-sheet is both tackier and also more elastic than H3's top-sheet... So I decided to try something else and went for the Tronix ZGR... It's discontinued, so I could get it for good price... Today first training with it... It's a nice rubber, after the STN it's like huge relief, huge relief... Cut on my blade it is 4g lighter than STN, it is 53g cut, my setup is now 193g and it was 197g... It's pretty hard, as Joola says, 56 deg, and that I think is accurate... I can access it, but it maybe a bit harder than what I prefer... When I compare it with Xiom C55 it doesn't have that nice clicky sound, at least not yet... I'm curious about the durability, as you know, the C55 durability is terrible, but it is an excellent rubber... Anyway, I thought if I love Tronix ZGR, I'd buy 4 sheets so I can play the next season with it, but now I'm not sure I'll do it... For sure I'll spend this one fully, but I'm not yet sure with what FH rubber I'll play the season... It will not be the classic chinese rubber (H3 or R9) this time.
