Can You play with a truncated rubber without ITTF logo?

Yeah, not having the text area on your rubber should be seen much like spitting massively onto your playmate face.

Using substandard, trashy rubbers is always seen an unfriendly gesture of yours, and indecent conduct inside the club in disdain to other people.

Take care to get your rubbers in compliance with the Rules of Table Tennis. A player properly versed of Rules is always socially welcome. On the contrary -- Ignorance of the Rules will make you an unworthy outcast.

Please!!!
Why are you saying these things!!! Why someone has to have two ITTF rubbers on his JTTA/CTTA/WhateverTTA approved blade just to have fun with another player? Does he also need some ITTF 3* balls, an +25mm ITTF table and an ITTF empire to have some fun?
A 10~20 dollar pair of rackets, a simple net and his kitchen table is enough to enjoy some table tennis!

What's the point to force yourself to play with normal equipment if you're not taking part in an ittf event or event that adheres to these rules and only play with friends? The only thing forcing you to play with approved rubbers are the leagues and tournaments. In the club there's players that don't play in tournaments and play with training rubbers or even hardbats.
