I have a raquet with C1 one side and Glayzer the other. Similar thickness. Glayzer is much harder. Also clearly harder than Vega Europe as I recall. Glayzer is a product of current times; hard feel, extreme grip. Much more Dignics than Tenergy. And Vega Europe is more of a Tenergy-type rubber.
C1 might be a good alternative to Vega Europe. Good grip and soft.

Ah, I see. Since you have more knowledge, is there any esn rubbers that you could recommend? I've seen the ventus limber being mentioned as grippy and light, is it comparable or too old? Thanks!
Ventus Limber is good but it has a slightly harder topsheet than VE. I mostly recommended F3BS because it is very light

C-1 is around 44 g on a regular blade. Moon 12 M- should be even less, but is marketed as a backhand rubber.
I've read a lot of good things about Aurus Soft aswell.
I haven't used c1, but I didn't like g1, one of the weirdest rubbers I've ever seen.

First, choose the hardness carefully.
Then look for a rubber that is preferably less than 10 years old.
Then select the dynamism according to your game.

Example:
you like rubbers of medium hardness but very dynamic: Tibhar Evolution FX-D
You like rubbers that are hard but not very dynamic: Fastarc G1, Vega Pro, etc.
I like rubbers like t05, mxp, bluestorm pro, hammond z2.
And dislike rubbers like g1, calibra tour, glayzer, acuda s2.

Isn't that too hard and heavier?
Never tried the rubber but not sure, i just recommend so u don’t have to switch from xiom rubber. More grip u can also try the nuzn 45 if u want to try the world of hybrids

You do realize Fastarc G1 has been around since 2010?
Honestly, there's no need to limit oneself to recent rubbers. Especially on amateur level preference really is the main valid criterion.

Oh, I had fully forgot about that, that's definitely worth a try.

It’s waaay better than Vega Europe. It make Vega Europe feel like mashed potatoes. It’s fairly light too…

Cheers

I'm seriously considering to use that, on both this racket to replace the vega, and on my main viscaria, and put it on both sides. It feels like the best of the bunch.

By the way, do you remember the throw angle? T05 for example that has a high throw, became pretty hard to use on the intensity because that blade is extremely curvy.

Exactly, I was talking about avoiding first-generation Tensor rubbers. From 2010 onwards, many models appeared that are still completely viable today (but could be improved). Afterwards, everyone is free to have their own opinion and feelings about a rubber, but when you see the number of negative feedbacks on one model compared to another, and even before the customer complains, you already know how to finish the end of his sentence...

Tried g1, didn't like it. Felt like a brick.
I might be the fourth person or fifth person who suggest C-1?

I used both G-1 and C-1 before. They are different. G-1, the sponge is harder. C-1 feels much softer and has a bit more catapult than G-1. My favorite set-up for a while was G-1 on 5-play or 7-ply wood on the backhand side but C-1 on outer carbon blade backhand side. It worked for me for awhile but I had to do it because C-1 behaves differently than G-1.

Razka 7 soft is also a good choice.

I experimented a lot with my backhand rubber. I feel that out of all them, I like Rakza 7 soft and C-1 for their durability. And they are soft and bouncy but NOT too bouncy. Acuda S2 also feels similar.

Xiom Vega Europe is slightly softer than the above.

Baracuda is still a good rubber. Softer than C-1 and Acuda S2.

By the way, I also hate Glayzer. It is like the worst of everything. Either give me something I can work with in terms of catapult (like Tenergy) or just give me the damn Dignics 05/80/64. Glayzer is like the worst of both sides.

I’m playing with Hybrid MK FX on BH now. It’s on s new blade but together with a 7 ply all ayous blade the throw is low. The Vega Euro was onna different blade a
Darker 7p-2a. There it had a higher throw. But soft rubbers usually throw high…

I didn't like the topsheet of the g1, it felt too stiff, I prefer the feel of t05 there, so c1 wouldn't change really. I've played with r7 and soft, they're definitely options, and I've never played with acuda, but I've heard they're obsolete with how old they are.
