What's pro players use on their wrist

Hi everyone ! I noticed that many players use something on their wrist. Is that just a bandage that absorbing your sweat or is that tape that fix your wrist?
I have some wrist problems so I would like to know if is that a good thing or what

A health professional is the only person who can assess your health problems.

These wristbands are probably indeed to provide some support.

There is a big difference between them and us though.. they play for their livelihood and they play a lot. They also have physiotherapist etc.
