Which do you prefer? Long 5 or Harimoto ALC?

Yes, although in my case it would
Would you strongly consider Tenergy 19 as your next Backhand rubber?

I was thinking of buying that setup: HL5 paired with D09c FH and T19 BH
Yes I could see it working. In my case I will try MX-P though.

I am tempted to try MX-P on both sides, or potentially MX-P 50 or MX-D. But one change at a time...

I use HTSALC but I have tried a friend’s W968. I’ll say the biggest difference is the dwell time? This may be because of the rubber difference since they use H3 national boosted and I use D05 and his blade is way heavier than mine. I got one that was 80+ grams.

The HTSALC is better for close table counter looping which is probably why harimoto chooses to use it (similar to his style). BH is way “crispier” not sure if that’s the right term people on these forums are funny with their descriptions. Definitely more feedback on the bh than W968.

Any time I play against my friend as long as I dominate in the close table rallies and push him far enough out I generally win the point. However, if he pushes me out do medium distance and we are both fh looping… he tends to win more points because it feels as if the ball is slipping off my racket or it goes straight into the net.

Could be a technique issue or a humidity problem but when I tried his W968 I had no problems like that looping with it. I used to come from Chinese rubbers so maybe the change to d05 has reduced my looping quality but still the dwell time on w968 is really unmatched.
