I didn't do that great in competition, i had really only two or three wins i can really be proud of, some defeats i can be proud of as well like going to the fifth when i was a huge underdog, or losing to a youngster who won the tournament. nearly every point was awesome and had applause from the crowd alas i didn't make a movie.

in training matches however i had some really good wins. i remember one going down from 4-10 saving 6 match points against a guy who was really good, i still don't know how i beat him ! same scenario against another guy playing with anti rubber...

or beating some very good guys i had never beaten before. or 2 weeks ago beating this youngster (who's still better than me) 3 nil landing all attacks, blocks and counters on the table... that was awesome. no movie alas !

I feel like I play better than i ever played ( thats the least i can expect after spending so much time and money with those head to head lessons). i just hope to see more results in competition and win some spectacular games. because i don't play only for just winning, i like to win nice rallies , play tricky shots as well. :)

Sometimes winning from a big deficit feels like more of an achievement than beating a higher level opponent, doesn't it? :)

One match this season I was 2-0 , 10-6 down and somehow won. It is a fantastic feeling.

i think the 1st guy in question was better level than me. i played above my average level this day, and i came back with my serves only. then as i came back he started to panic...as it was the last set. he was still young so a bit fragile mentally.

for the guy with anti rubber our level was closer, that was actually only the 3rd set. i had lost the 2nd quite easily. once i got this set, he really collapsed mentally and i felt really confident, i crushed him in the 4th to win 3-1.

i think it was this year, not last (not 100% sure...), where i got my worst defeat, beaten something like -5 -3 -0 (!!!)
not that i played THAT bad, the guy was just too good for me, and several levels above. and i couldn't convert the few chances that i had to even score a point in the last game. the guy just didn't make any unforced errors, played a step back from the table, and was blocking, fishing, attacking...anyway he just crushed me.

I came back from being down 2:10 couple of weeks ago at US Open (still lost the match ), but that's something to remember.

My best win was in the unsanctioned teams tournament against the guy who's currently ~2100 in our league - came back from 2:8 and 6:10 in the 5th.

I had some nice wins, but nothing spectacular. The biggest win is getting from ~28% win ratio in league last season to ~72% currently (beating some players I never won against before). All thanks to training camp in denmark during summer break (B75). Didn't have time to practice a lot after that, so there is no other explenation.

I had one "great" loss before summer agains young kid from Poland that is top300 U18 in ittf ranking. I managed to take him to 5th set and he even congratualted me and said that we need to play again because he "can't leave it like that" :D
