I notice his coach speaking to him in Chinese. Who is he? Did team Japan hire him just for harimoto?

From what I've read, Harimoto's parents are Chinese, both of them coaches who had a contract in Japan. For quite some time the father was his coach....

Pretty sure Harimoto Father was also player in the Chinese National Team.

That was his mom, his dad was a provincial player of Sichuan province.

But if you see in the video, the coach with mask on doesnt seem to be hus dad. Hus dad is very thin build

Pretty sure Harimoto's dad stopped coaching him, at least on the sidelines during tournaments. I remember adam saying at one of the tournaments last year that it was just too emotional for both the dad and son to have that sort of coaching relationship during matches.

cool. I wonder how he found his way into the Japanese National team coaching staff. When did he join the team? Was he brought in specifically for Harimoto or does he already work in Japanese with other players?

Also any idea why Harimoto's previous coach was dropped? I had the impression that he wasn't very good coach, but I didn't see any specific announcement about him.
