Why is it so hard to find a heavier Viscaria?

I recently tried to buy a 90g+ Viscaria from a major retailer during black friday and they told me their heaviest was 86g! I remember a few years ago when 86g was the lightest you could get and 90g was the average. Why have Viscaria weights been going down? Is it due to the trend of using heavier and heavier rubbers? Is the quality of the wood worse now?

I suspect that no small part of it is that players are getting wiser to the facts that weight can play a big role in feeling and performance for blades, and that you can pretty easily request for and receive a desired weight if its available.
