I would love to have this blade in ST handle. I am very much stay away from the composite blades.... I am always a fan of Nittaku all wood blades especially the instrument series blades. I had one in FL L handle, but the FL handle is not really comfortable as I had tried one of the ST handle from one of my friend. I love this blade due to the best feel, comfortable handle and vibration feedback.....

Well Violin is pretty much the best allround allwood looping blade there is .... Quality is Superb .... great control durability and it s light so .... it s a looper's dream and i'd love to live to try my dream because i am a looper

Straight handle feels really nice and Love the design of this blade, also with this extra power from this blade would go great with the new 40+ poly ball.

he coach I had through most of my junior years played with this blade with anatomic shape handle. He had it since he was a junior too. It had the most tremendous feel of all blades I got to play with. It was almost mystical how you felt you could play better with that blade. Unfortunately while playing around at the end of a training session he scraped it against the floor trying to roll a low ball on the table and because of the small neck of the blade it snapped in two right at the top of the handle. He bought a new one but obviously it wasn't the same as his old blade and the fact that you couldn't find a JO shape blade at that time may have been a part of why it didn't feel as good. It was obviously just a blade but there was something so special about it, it was actually kinda sad to see him break it.


He doesn't play much anymore but I'd love to get him that blade as a gift for him to remember his old blade and most of all to give him a souvenir of when he was coaching all of us. He was such a great coach and person and I can confidently say he made me a better person. That would be my little way of giving back to him.

Alright here goes. I would like to win this blade because it is one of the most beautiful blades Stiga has made. Furthermore I have never played with a hardwood blade like Rosewood, Ebenholz etc. so if I would be able to play one it would be the Stiga Emerald VPS V.

My blade of choice is the DHS Hurricane King II/655 with a straight handle. I want a quality blade that has an oversized head (160X150), a Koto/Spruce construction and a straight handle. DHS makes a lot of Koto/Spruce blades with that head size, but they are mostly low quality and do not come in a straight handle, while the higher quality ones are too expensive for me. Same thing with YinHe. Most European/Asian companies don't make that big of a headsize, nor do they make Koto/Spruce construction either.

If I had this blade, there would be nothing equipment-related for me to complain about.

The gap between me and people from other region is increasing too rapidly to the point where I feel like I almost cannot catch up, due to no coaches in this area. After trying "defending" for some period, I believe that this style can give other people real trouble. I feel it's more natural chopping 5 feet away than looping. Due to no funds, it's quite hard to convert to a defender, and I would love a defensive set-up.
