Until someone who has played both replies, you can get a good idea between the two from TTgearlabs reviews. They reviewed the regular TMXi however.

why didn't you like it???
My ALXi's top plies are just too thin, it feels like an outer carbon blade, but a very bad one. In short, it doesn't have the speed of an outer carbon blade and doesn't have the feeling of inner carbon blade. The ball quality is just meh. Here are some pics comparing the thickness of the blades
Top is the Jinshi KLC Pro (6.0mm), bottom is the Nittaku So-ten (5.7mm)

Top is the ALXi, bottom is the Soten

looking at mine 36.5 ALXi i can't see much difference, but even 0.1mm makes a difference so maybe you're right.
