Well, this was again on sale and couldn't resist to get it.. and since some other people seemed to be interested on this blade and very few reviews exist, I will write a short review. Added my used but still good G1 - C1 combo that I had on the Treiber Z (it's an outer zlc and hinoki, very linear with low arc, easy access to speed and small dwell time)

The Artemis alx is very good for spin game - easier to loop on back spin and less initial speed than the Treiber.. Still has good speed (but I wasn't sure what to expect since Xiom website ratings are the 2nd highest on speed for this blade) definitely not an uncontrolable beast.. I would say high OFF or low OFF+. It has very good control, medium to medium high arc and the good thing is I feel it has higher final speed than the treiber, so when I use exess force to the forehand loop it flies like a rocket and still lands on the table with a nice arc. Easy to place the ball well and easy to counter from far of the table.

On the backhand though C1 seems to not cut it (it seemed too soft).. my fellow teamate seemed to easily block 4-5 backhand loops in a row when we were playing some matches.. I had to either place the ball great or pivot to the forehand to finish the point. So I'm considering a faster rubber for BH. C1 worked pretty good on FH though, but G1 not the best and too linear for the BH for me.

Overall very good blade.. very happy for the couple times tested, definitely a blade to be used towards a looping and spin game than a flat / smashing game (treiber was better at this).
