Got hold of a sheet of black 2.1 57.5 in the end.

Will give it a try and see if I can Hugo a few balls.
Total impulse issues Andysmith... 😊
Anyone tried it?... Wait 5 minutes...nope... Order, Collect and stick on blade..

Got chance to train with 57.5 yesterday.

First impressions are promising.
Serve and receive is strong. Rotation on the fist loop really bites.
Topspin to block when the ball has momentum on it it is also really nice.
Engaging the sponge to deliver the power is sometimes challenging to be honest. Hoping it softens up a little.

It's very much like thinking all the time ... Engage Engage the rubber!! then it goes like a bullet and safe. Something that honestly you have to be in the position to achieve.

I'll test again tonight.

I often play with the Dynaryz ZGR, which I think is also 57.5

I'm guessing this rubber should be basically similar.

How does it compare to the established generation of ESN hybrids (ZGR, Dragon Grip, etc)?
I'm normally K3 Pro both sides but this 57.5 not broken in these always seem like bricks to me.
Hoping after a few more training sessions it be break in and then become a bit more friendly in open play.

I've been using C55 on my FH for most of a year on my forehand, but could not help but feel that C55 was a bit too hard and thus somewhat unforgiving, especially when I'm under pressure in a real competitive match. Hence the dalliance with Dignics 09c, etc.

So I was very excited to test C52.5 on my forehand and, after a couple practice sessions, it seems to be a perfect forehand rubber for me, very promising. Same mildly tacky and very grippy topsheet as on C55, but the slightly softer sponge makes the rubber more dynamic and safer to play and therefore I am no longer hesitant to hit the ball hard wheh under pressure. Definitely prefer this rubber over Dignics 09C.

Ofc, the real test shall take place at the Hereford tournament next weekend 🤣

Definitely used to like the K3 53 on backhand but moved to a hinoki carbon blade.

The 57. 5 when touching and looping is great control and spin.
Definitely agree if there's a hesitate moment or loss of racquet head speed there's alot of extra work yo get the ball over.
Hereford event... Nice.. Hoping it hoe's well. Who's entered?

It could just be the honeymoon period 😉 he'll probably switch to 09c or H3N and do better.... 😊
Xiom will not bff him anymore...

Srly, Hugo is a Xiom sponsored player. If he wants to switch, he probably must wait for the contract to expire first.

Thinking of switching to this on the backhand as well. Have had a good switch around and quite liked it but thinking it will be like thorns hammer weight heavy ....
