Hi guys,
I tested the Vega China + now next to the regular Vega China. I dont even know what to say
Lets be honest here, my skill is simply not good enough to fairly evaluate this rubber. I played with h3n os, h3n bs, d09, vega china, omega 7 china , JH C55 etc. What I am trying to say is that I am used to hard rubbers.
On the package of VC+, it says that its a rubber for professional players that can create extrem spin at 75km/h swing speed. VC+ was really slow for me and the dwell was low, due to me not being skilled enough to activate the rubber in drills / matchplay. Of course I used more power at some point, the catapult kicks quite late and if you brush over the ball with a high acceleration the spin reaches a high level.
The thing is, with h3 bs, if I dont impact with strong force the ball is slow but still spinny for me. With old version Vega China, the catapult kicks early and its easy to get a stable arc + high spin. VC+ with a 57.5 degree sponge just feels too hard for me personally, I bet with swing speed + impact of Hugo it will be a good rubber.
With C55 for example, its just alot more bouncy (in a good way) and the rubber helps you more since again, the catapult activates earlier. In short game VC+ was very spin sensitive so I am sure you can create amazing spin with this rubber if you have great technique. Overall, if you are just a regular hobby player on intermediate level, VC+ feels dead
One thing to add, I think this rubber will be very good when boosted because its already light in weight so it wont be too heavy. If I opt for boosting I‘d just use h3 though.
Can sell my sheet if anyone is interested in trying it out
cheers
