Pros
  • Decent speed
  • Grippy
  • lightweight
Cons
  • Low throw
  • Shrinkage
  • short life span
When new: The rubber is fast with a very low throw, average control.

After a few months: The sponge shrinks (mine while still being glued to the blade), The speed decreased a little, but the throwing angle improved a bit and the increase in control is noticeable.

the grip is remarkable in the first 6 months, after that it becomes hard to play with it, quick wrist movements no longer generate spin so you have to make full swings to do so.

It has a very short life, you probably have to boost is you want to keep using it, after all is a very expensibe rubber.

I tried out Stiga Airoc Soft yesterday and I think they felt very good. First I like the control and also the spin, I got very spinny serves. I have not played with so many soft rubbers before but I like the feel when hitting hard loops. I tried the rubbers with Clipper Wood and the new poly ball.

Switched to this rubber from M version, which where good but i had lack of control a little bit. Very good rubbers, played also with Calibra and Tour but these i like much more. They have proper amount of spin and speed combined with control. Some of my friends that play with Tenergy liked them very much but at the end they think that Tenergy is better which i doubt. I think that is just that they don't want to admit that tenergy is not absolute.

Anyway these are the best rubbers so far and I am waiting eagerly the Astro rubbers

good rubber, very good choice for allround players, beginners
good choice for backhand
as forhend rubber it will be good on primorac, violin (off- or soft blades)
i not like it as forhand rubber on maze off, viscaria. soft rubber going to be uncontrollable on hard strokes, hard to make heavy topspin
rubber are very durable, after playing 2 months it still in good condition
price less than tenergy it is good, but it still too high

Quality rubber. Does almost everything well and has great control. But, for me, it was tough to generate sufficient spin when serving. Long fast backspin serves were easy to return for opponents, where as with Razaka 7 or Boost TX they are a handy way of picking up quick points. Shame. If it hadn't been for this I would have kept it.

I think that Airoc S is a very good soft rubber with much control and feeling with a clear and nice sound. This rubber is well suited for the poly ball and I think Stiga has manage to design the rubber great with the new ball in mind. The rubber is very soft so I recommend it for all round players who prefer soft rubbers with a balance between speed and control. The topsheet makes it easy to get spiny short serves and returns.

The rubber has a pretty flat trajectory and I mostly recommend it as a backhand rubber. It is not the fastest rubber out there and can sometimes lacks a little power from the back in my opinion thats why I play with Airoc M. Airoc S is as durable as my Airoc M which still feels almost completely new after playing with the same rubber for almost two month now. I think Airoc S Is overall a great soft rubber and I give it 5 out of 5 stars.

I've bought this rubber for my FH to test. Very similar to Tour series. To be honest, I hated on my FH in means of spin. Totally frustrated. I couldn't hold more than 2 weeks, switched to Tenergy 05 and took a deep breath. This rubber is very disappointing in means of spin.

If you play in mid/far range, you notice the strength-power-more spin of the rubber and If you play all-a-around, you can enjoy with this rubber. BUT...
If you are more close/mid range player, this rubber is not for you.

I tried my friends rubber in the club the other day who uses the Airoc S. I felt a good amount of speed and spin and I think I could use it myself however I am addicted to Chinese rubbers on the forehand now. I think this rubber would suit the backhand well. My only concern was sometimes away from the table the rubber lacked control. But again this could be because i'm used to tacky chinese rubbers so my stroke is used to being able to grab the ball.

Using this rubber atm in combination with the Stiga Rosewood VII blade. First thing i noticed with this rubber is that it is definitely more suited to use with the new poly ball than the old celluloid ball, although obviously with the rule changes coming into effect from July i can only see this as a positive thing, as STIGA have clearly designed this rubber series with the new balls in mind.

The main thing for me was that when playing attacking shots, as i have also found with a large variety of STIGA rubbers, the trajectory on the ball is very flat compared to some other brands, and this left me feeling there is little margin for error, and as a player whos style is generally to play with high quantities of spin i found it didnt allow me the trajectory i need to play to my strengths, something which i did find with the STIGA boost series of rubbers and Tibhar evolution. However, positives of this rubber were that it was easy to control and also durable, having used it for 3 months without having to change.

I will probably persevere with this rubber through to next season to see how my results fair with the new ball. 7/10
