I'm referring to a DHS Hurricane 3 NEO rubber glued on the blade with VOC free glue (butterfly chack).
To my amateur hand I didn't feel this rubber lacking in any area of the game comparing to my previous rubber XIOM Sigma I Europe.
I have to admit I quite enjoyed the change. Of course blocking isn't exceptional with this rubber and it requires some precision.
The durability of the rubber is really low. When it contacts the table there will probably be a piece of it cut. The thing that saves it though is that it is on my forehand and I usually get the table with the backhand rubber. Next rubber I am going to get for my forehand will be h3 boosted because I'm curious, how a boosted rubber feels like. I have read people saying that this rubber was significantly different from a typical tensor, I didn't notice this to be honest. For me the rubber felt similar, as for it collecting dust, it does, like every rubber, not more. Also some people think this rubber is slow, I don't agree, I did try a TIBHAR EL-P and it felt slow comparing to H3 when looping.

Overall I think Hurricane 3 NEO is a fair rubber for the forehand and I suggest it to people looking for a cheap blade to begin with.

Coach had us train with this ball, well, every brushing stroke I did stop on the net. I think that happened cause my rubber couldn't grip with this ball. It's like the ball had powder on it, like all new balls. But other new balls you can spin. When during the topspin the ball did push into the sponge then the ball had some spin. I will try edit again after more use.

I haven't tried a lot of rubbers but I didn't see much difference comparing with popular tensor rubbers like Bluefire, Tenergy and Evolution. It is really durable rubber, bouncy, spinny.
EDIT: The durability of the rubber is very very good. It can take a lot of bangs in the table and survive easily and edges are in perfect shape.
In the short play it not easy to keep the ball low some times. When the opponent uses a short serve with weak backspin on your fh side it is hard to return low and short with back-spin. It will either be short with no spin or long with backspin. Of course if your technique is better than mine you could do it, but I still think it's quite hard with this rubber.

I've played this rubber from a friend and it's just a great solid rubber. Other cheap rubbers usually lack something like speed or spin. I liked the sound it does when you hit it hard, and seems to be pretty durable. My friend is using it 7 months and the top sheet still got good grip. It has that extra bounciness to suit the speed lacking beginner blade. And it comes in a price that no one will believe is true. It is also an affordable solution if someone has a table and plays with friends that tend to forget their bats !

Definitely a rubber that will guide a new player into the sport providing great fun !

  • Speedy (starter)
I'll start telling that I'm beginner and consequently I haven't tested thoroughly other blades, just some hits.
Having said that it's a blade that will satisfy the needs of a beginner in every way. It is also generous speedwise so you won't need a replacement any soon. Being glued with XIOM sigma I eu rubbers I didn't manage to tell the difference comparing to a Donic Waldner - tenergy combo . In the end though you got to like the looks of the blade as well and this one excels in this area in my opinion. The feedback from the blade when hitting flat is a lot. When looping I feel it is less but it could be a flow in my technique .
I hope this helps a bit:)
