I have 2 years using this wood really is a very good wood, is very flexible allowing give much effect on topspin ball and loops, its flexibility combined with Arylate really giving you great control, very good to block and counter attack close to the table and half away, sometimes beyond the average distance lacks a bit of speed but that is arranged with fast rubbers. Currently the use with Tenergy 64 by Forehand and Tenergy 05 on the backhand. I have no problems with reception, do flicks, blocked, attacked, counter attacked really I recommend it very versatile for players seeking an excellent varied game in every sense, a bit expensive but worth every penny. The wood looks great time despite using it.

This rubber needs break a couple of days of playing to break it. After the break in period this rubber is very spinny but the spin is a bit hard to generate. You have to have good brushing technique to generate deadly spin. The Tenzone is a very quick, direct and powerful rubber. When you hit through the sponge as you brush loop you get deadly shot to finish the point. Control is bit challenging though. You cannot do half baked shot or else the ball will go long. A full committed swing is necessary.

All in all, I like this rubber. I think it is better paired with a bit slower and softer blade.

The Treiber Z from andro is a hard fast blade which nevertheless gives you a good ball-feeling. You will have especially advantages with aggressive topspins. If you begin to play with the blade, it is possible that you have temporarily some problems with block balls. But it only takes some time to get used with the speed of the blade. Later, you can be an excellent blocker, if you play often with this material. In my opinion, the blade sits comfortably in the hand. Recently, andro has reduced the price for the Treiber Z in Germany. There, you can buy it there for approximately 109 US-Dollars.

I tried this rubber in the FH with the Xiom Zetro Quad blade, it's a great rubber for those who love adding lots of spin in their attacks, even as it has a lot of control also it has good speed, but its not at all the fastest.

The downside, it lasted about 2 months only, and right after the first month of use it began to look worn out, losing very quickly the ammount of spin you can produce.

  • Great BH flick
  • Lot of control

A soft, but fast rubber for control and spin game. I use it on both FH and BH with the Xiom Zetro Quad blade. It lets you loop with no problems at mid distance, and the backhand flick is increadibly easier with this rubber.
You can add tons of spin in both BH and FH topspin, and even in serves, but when receiving short is a little too bouncy.
When blocking you can feel the extra control of this rubber, as it's easier to put the ball right where you want it. When attacking its better than other rubbers I have tried, and it's very versatile as you can hit flat or with spin, could be faster, but it works just perfect for me.

Lasts longer than an Andro Rasant Grip, but less than other rubbers, and you have to be careful to hit the table or something else as it's sponge can break really easy on the edges.

It's cheaper than the popular Tenergy's (the softer ones, 05-fx maybe) and the quality is pretty similar in my opinion, so if you are searching for alternatives give it a try.

The andro Rasant Power Grip is a rubber for elite players with an aggressive playing style. The rubber is relatively hard. Therefore, you need a good technic for the topspin and the block. But if you are a good player you can exert very much pressure with your topspin. The andro Rasant Power Grip is not so durable as the andro Hexer, but regarding the quality it is the best rubber so far produced by andro.

Pros
  • good feedback
The Gewo High Power 6.5 is a balsa wood blade and was used from many players during the speed glue time. Nowadays it is not that fast anymore compared to other blades and suffers in the Control. Especially for slow balls and passive plays it has not the best feedback for the Player.
However for the Offensive player this blade is very straight forward and lets you put the pressure on your opponent.

Pros

Cons
  • dont last long
The Calibra LT Sound is one of the new generation rubbers which imitates the speed glue effect very good because it is very soft. It is the softest of the Calibra family and is very spin heavy.
The downside is the control especially for slow rallys and returns.
The rubber is very sensitive and do not last very long.

Pros
  • Durable

Cons
  • Not round
I tried out these plastic training balls yesterday. They were durable as none broke throughout the session, they were of good speed however so many of them were like an egg shape and not round.

The thing is, the 3* balls are not very good, so you can imagine what the training balls are like! However they are cheap and do the job for a multi ball session. i would not recommend these for matches.

As I've used this Andro set-up for just a month, these are initial thoughts.
Spin is great which is why I selected it.
Ok speed could be higher but it's ok for me.
Durability after a month seems ok, there aren't any wear marks.
Would be an interesting comparison against so called 'King of Spin', the Tenergy 05.
It is 30% cheaper than the Tenergy.
Im using it as 2.1mm on both sides. When the rubbers need replacing, I might try Tenergy 05 on the forehand
and keep the Rasant Grip on the backhand.

I've been using this Andro set-up for about a month so these are initial impressions.
Im not too interested in breaking the sound barrier with speed as spin is more my thing. Yes it's not the quickest
but I didn't buy it for that. It's quick enough for m.
Feel and balance seem nice and sound is lovely 'crack' sound from a hard drive.
Cost was £56 so not bad compared with a lot of others.
Overall, if spin is your thing, give it a try.

Pros
  • direct strokes
  • low throw
  • close/mid table
This blade is superb for close/mid distance play due to its hardness/stiffness and lower throw angle compared to viscaria family of blades.
I used andro rasant (black) for FH and tibhar aurus soft for BH.

blocks extremely well. ball stays close to net height.
Close table exchanges/drives/counterdrives are very easy.
pairing up with tibhar aurus soft on BH has been a wonderful experience, since the blade characteristics (fast/stiff/low-throw) mate perfectly with rubber (med-fast/med-soft sponge/high throw). All kinds of strokes : over table banana loops, away from table power loops, close table blocking etc worked extremely well.
On the FH side, andro rasant also gave good results because of its medium sponge giving the necessary dwell time and grippy surface for lifting backspins easily. The low throw of the blade ensures that you dont overshoot the edge of the table easily, but you need to still keep a check as the blade and rubber are both fast. Maybe a marginally slower rubber would have been the best combination, but rasant is also not bad either !!
Serve receives/ pushes are well controlled. I was able to place the ball easily to different spots and at extreme angles.

Overall, very happy with the blade !!

Hi everyone, I've recently swapped rubbers (and blade as well!) and I thought
to leave here at table tennis daily some feedback and comments about the
importance of finding the right match of blade and rubbers to fit your own game style.

Previously I had been playing with Butterfly Innerforce ALC with Tenergy 80 and 05
on forehand and backend. I played with this combination for about 2 years. Since then,
my game has improved somewhat and has also developed into a semi offensive style,
where I make points by a combination of strategies that depend heavily on positional
blocking an counter attacking. As I lack strengh and speed in my most offensive shots
(and I'm still developing/correcting my loop technic, specially on my backend) I try to
add variety in shots in my game. Even though I do like ternegy 05, I had grow to find
it a bit unforgiving and not too tolerant to mistakes. It's was a great rubber when I spinned
with my backend with a perfect technic, but most times, I was not able to do this and adjust,
resulting in an inconsistent game. I've always enjoyed my forehand, ternergy 80. So, at
a recommendation of a friend, I decided two change both rubbers to ternegy 80-fx.
The impact on my game was very visible. If I had to highlight what it has brought into my
game I would say three things: 1) time on the ball, 2) and overall sense of control,
3) and tolerance to my own mistakes when hitting balls. I've now have played with
these rubbers on Jun Mizutani SZLC blade, and I'm very happy. Not only my game has
grown in confidence, but it has also allowed me to keep improving my backend. The ternergy
80-fx feels a lot softer than the 05, and it is really suited my style. Overall, it gives a player
a sense that the ball spends a lot more time on the impact with the rubber, and is clearly
an excellent all rounder. I would particular recommend it to players that are keen on
developing their game through control, other through speed. Since changing to the new
rubbers and blade, my game has improved 10-15% and I'm sure it will continue on that
direction. The most important thing I learned is that is critical for a player to always think
about where their game stands, and think about what rubbers and blades are out there that
can best fit your style, and move it forward. Coaching and practising are very important
but always remember to keep your rubbers updated (and change them frequently) so that
you make the most of it!

The softer sponge allows for a great touch in the short game but you still have great spin and power when you need it. You can get a massive amount of spin with this rubber, has a lower throw than the normal 05 and is a bit slower. But you get way more control with the 05FX and that is why i like it so much. Good for blocks also but in the offensive game you see the attacking potential of this rubber.

Hi all!

Yesterday I had an opportunity to try, this awsome blade:
Jun Mizutani Super ZLC Anatomic, FH: T05, BH: T80

The blade is a good example of fine craftmanship, well for that price it better be. Nice finish on the blade, the composite material has a really nice texture, colours and the pattern are stilysh. The blade is a bit small, just like the chinese player themed Butterfly blades (LSW, ZJK). The handle is short and thin, but it is comfortable.

Since the other two reviews are accurate and detailed, I will share some additional info. The blade has a very nice feel and a sort of linear soft kick to the ball. Nowdays the TB ALC, TB Spirit and other ALC blades are very popular, but ALC dampens or numbs resonance of the blade much. Zylon is a type of kevlar derivative so is arylate too. Carbon has a qute rigid feel and a harsh resonance when applied to a blade, but it is a undenyable what benefits it has. But this setup Super ZLC is actually perfect, it has the same feeling as a kevlar-karbon composite blade, but way more softer feel. This can be also descibed similar to the Liu Shiwen and IF ZLC but with a bit more stiffer feel and tempo. Overall the blade is a OFF type blade with a nice ALL+/OFF- touch. The setup works really well with the Tenergy rubbers (as intended from the manufacturer) way better, than any other setups I tried so far.

I hope I could help.

My first real blade. Previously i was playing with an old TSP Chinese 5-S, All around, lots of vibration and slow. It was a huuuuuuge BOOM to my experience. This blade is as fast as date lenght. At first i tried with LT PLUS BH LT SOUND FH but it was ~meh~. Then i tried H3NEO FH Rakza7 BH...too heavy and did not fell right. Then i tried LT PLUS as FH and maintained Rakza 7 as BH. Supa dupa blaster master speed!! Awesome! I was able to loop consistently with BH and fast drive/smash with FH. Awesome....but still felt strange. Now i am with Rakza 7 Max both sides....WOW. Thats is! My control short, close and mid distance improved a lot as i vary speed/spin a lot during a point, it offers very smooth transitioning. The control provided by blade is good. Not superb, but good. It flexes a bit when swing too fast, which i found in hand on those far backhand angle strokes. Speed is high. Feeling...hmm...maybe i didnt my medicines up lately but it talks with you. Whenever you are with wrong rubber, stroke poorly...it tells ya. I never saw myself blaming the rubber for that difficult stroke went wrong....i knew it was me...dem feels bro. In short Tons of fells - of course, monoply hinoki is the king in this department Control - Good, yeah...good. Speed - High o/ Hardness - HARD Stiffness - Medium id say. Short game - it lacks some control but i think its due rakza. Paired with medium-soft/medium rubbers is a looping machine. Rakza 7, Omega iv euro, Sigma II Euro would be good choices. Maybe Calibra LT Spin and Airoc M too!! Ohh, mine weights 82gr! im lucky ) If you are an intermediate player and want to take TT seriously, id highly advise this blade.

Pros

Tested with classic Srivers, both 2.1

SPEED: Obviously, choosing a blade like this, one is not aiming for a blasting speed. It performs in a decent manner, though. The carbon layers give the wood an extra "tick" of speed.

CONTROL
: Great control.
short game: very good feeling, although to play carbon, your hand needs to know what it is doing.
at the table: great topspins bh&fh, outstanding blocking, sweet dropshots.
mid/long distance: need to have a good stroke technique, since this blade itself isn't going to do the work for you - one must really perform complete strokes (don't forget, not a fast wood).
serving: feels a bit stiff (due to carbon?). As I said, the blade "asks the
hand to perform", it wants you to concentrate on the hand
- thus, you need to have a good control of your hand (!).

OVERALL
:
Very good blade with great control for little money. Ideal for an all+ player, who likes to have an active control & knows what he is doing (like me ;-), in my youth an off- player (Mazunov off+, Tamca Gergely) on a national level for years, now age 35, playing for fun.). Perhaps, this blade could also be the trainer's choice for children, who want to play TT more seriously.
