Where is it at this year ?

Location is Ft. Worth, TX. Dates haven't been announced yet. Also there is currently no table sponsor unless something has changed since this past Friday.

First time in this location, good to see them moving it around. They should pick up 250 players from that metro alone.

I am credited for being everywhere... but If anyone has seen me live in person, that one will know I am pretty easy to see.

I have and it's true! At the LA Open a few years back (the last year it was Butterfly-sponsored). Only I didn't know your profile back then. Or else I would have come say hi. I figure you'll be in Texas for this one too.

A lot of my Ex's live in Texas...

... well a lot of ex-close friends who I have been away from for too long.

By the way, I will be at 2019 LA Open... Also, a good friend, a real American TT legend of Korean Amateur TT, will team up with me for U4500 doubles.

If you see a bootleg vid from summer of 2013 with us playing doubles in the local TT club there in the Korean DMZ late night after day 1 of a national tourney for the stakes of 3 each 3000cc beers, after the entire club each consumed at least 10 each 500cc bottles...

... quickly delete and hide every trace of that vid, Korean Goon Squad sure to speed to your sector.

Haha, now I'm going to be looking for this vid!

I registered for this year's LA Open in the off-chance that I'll have time to travel at the end of the month, but I'll most likely have to withdraw. But if I do make it to LA, I'll come holler at you. Otherwise my backup plan will be to attend the European Team Championships here in France.

Haha, look hard and long in Korean... you might need the assistance of Carl's phone that has massive spying capabilities to retrieve any video footage from the phones of local club players that night in 2013...

Online entry system not available yet The goal is to have online entry up
and running sometime next week. Online registration will be through Omnipong. Expect 70-75 events vs the 90+ at Nationals.

I guess it will have more participation than last year in Florida. My guess is 350-400 from Texas alone.

Then, take your wife with you. There are about 20 Korean restaurants close.

I won't go unless with a girlfriend.

.... Not sure what you mean. I'm looking on Omnipong right now and it shows 86 entries. How much more transparency do you need?

.....

Is there a reason that you find the entry updates, oftentimes for no-name players or by state, of interest?

For things that are of general interest, but I think I speak for most people when I say that nobody cares about John Doe from Alabama, rated 800, entering the US Open.

Also if I'm recalling the names he has mentioned previously correct almost all of them are forum members of the various table tennis websites such as mytt, ooakforum and this one.

General Demographics is useful, number of players from different states, etc.

The use of individual unique names was a little humor to keep the thread active to remind the public of the event. It may have inspired additional entries which was the goal.
