US Open Table Tennis Championships-2023 - is an annual table tennis tournament that has been taking place since 1931 and will be held for the 95th time in 2023. The event is organized USA Table Tennis, non-profit governing body of table tennis in the United States, which is responsible for cataloging and sanctioning table tennis tournaments in the United States. Tournament dates are December 16–21, 2023 in Ontario, California, USA.

US Open Table Tennis Championships -is the oldest currently running table tennis tournament in the United States It attracts over 600 athletes annually. The first events were actually run by either the New York Table Tennis Club or the American Ping Pong Association. The first USA Table Tennis (USTTA) tournament was held in 1934.
The U.S. Open has been previously held in various locations, including Anaheim, California; Charlotte, North Carolina; Chicago, Illinois; Las Vegas, Nevada; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Grand Rapids, Michigan; and Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Due to its international nature, most events are played under International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) rules and at times the tournament has been included as an ITTF Pro Tour / World Tour event.

its a Japanese corporate team that took part in US Open.
basically former JNT members, who still play competitively.
US Open does draw a lot of internationals (hence its called OPEN)
