The Polish Open concluded today on the 25th October 2015. The event saw an impressive entry list including the world's top 5 entering (Ma Long, Xu Xin, Fan Zhendong, Zhang Jike & Jun Mizutani). In the men's singles final saw China's Fan Zhendong take on Austria's Stefan Fegerl, in the women's singles final Liu Shiwen met Ding Ning.

A lot of drama took place throughout the Polish Open including Zhang Jike's loss in the semi final to the finalist Stefan Fergel. Elsewhere Ma Long took on the super 12 year old Tomokazu Harimoto, Tomo gave his best however the the world champion prevailed. A great experience for the young Japanese player.
In the semi finals Fan Zhendong progressed to the final defeating Xu Xin by 4 games to 2. In the other semi final Stefan Fegerl eliminated Olympic Champion Zhang Jike. In the final Austria's Stefan Fegerl put up a fantastic fight against Fan Zhendong in an epic 7 set battle! Unfortunately in the women's singles final Ding Ning had to withdraw after the second set due to injury.
